2nd STREET MASSAGE
Massage Services
Relaxation Massage: Although most massages create a state of relaxation, a true Relaxation Massage involves a full body treatment whose sole goal is to create a state of complete relaxation through the release of your stress and tension.

Swedish Massage: Swedish Massage uses 5 types of long flowing stroke techniques to reduce pain, flush out toxins and improve circulation through vasodilation. The 5 types of strokes are called effleurage (a light touch), petrissage (a kneading motion), tapotement (a rhythmic motion), compression to create friction, and vibration.
Maternity Massage: Using a pregnancy massage pillow your therapist will help you to get into a comfortable position to be massaged. Pregnancy Massage will help to ease the aches and pains often associated with pregnancy and the changes your body will experience. Special focus is placed on the pelvic, hip and neck regions. This can also help you to reduce your level of fatigue. As you become more relaxed so will your baby.
Deep Tissue Massage: As its' name suggests, Deep Tissue Massage focuses on the deeper muscles and connective tissues. This type of massage may be appropriate for ligaments, tendons and muscles where your body has sustained chronic injuries or in the presence of scar tissue. There is usually some discomfort or pain during this type of massage as the nerves associated with these deeper layers of the body can be sensitive to direct pressure. Deep Tissue massage can help to restore limited range of motion, relieve muscle spasm, and relieve musculoskeletal related chronic pain.
Sport Specific Massage:
This type of massage is for acute and chronic treatment of
musculoskeletal injuries related to a specific sport. A doctor's
prescription is need prior to scheduling this type of massage. We
recommend consulting with the doctors at Chiropractic First, LLC prior
to scheduling a Sport Specific Massage.
